Can you believe it? July 1 marks halfway through 2019.

The mid-year point is a great time to ask: is your law firm’s marketing strategy working? That’s the big idea I tackle in my most recent National Law Review article, “Mid-Year Marketing Check-up for Law Firms: The 7 Most Important Metrics.”

In this article, I discuss the seven most important areas to review when considering how effective your marketing has been this year, as well as several items that you should think about as you launch into the second half of the year. These areas include:

  1. Growth Metrics
  2. Content Marketing
  3. Client Appreciation Strategy
  4. Online Reputation Management
  5. Award Calendar Updates
  6. Social Media
  7. Website Audit

There is so much incredible, actionable information in this article, I won’t spoil it for you here. Needless to say, following just a couple of my action plans for updating social media, auditing your website and online biographies, and/or designing your content plan for the rest of the year can pay off with big gains of increased website traffic, more attorney-to-attorney referrals, and better customer relationships (especially around the holidays).
