The MSU Denver student community received excellent news last month when Meranda Vieyra, CEO of Denver Legal Marketing, unveiled the new Legal Marketing course available only at MSU Denver.
The innovative course, targeted to current and potential marketing students, is the first of its kind undergraduate level course at MSU Denver and in Colorado, and possibly the first of its kind in the United States.
Although the 3-credit class will begin in Jan 2020 for marketing majors and marketing minors, individuals not enrolled at MSU Denver can attend the class as well. The class will provide a foundation for those interested in working in legal marketing or developing better business marketing practices in the business-to-business and business-to-consumer areas.
Unique aspects of the class will include: networking with the legal marketing community through guest speakers, attendance at a private recruiting/networking event in the legal community; and, a final project collaboration with the Legal Entrepreneurs for Justice on their marketing efforts.
The class was introduced to the student community on October 10th through a panel discussion moderated by Meranda Vieyra. The panel of seasoned marketing professionals also included: Michelle Friends of Fairfield & Woods; Lindsay Vassar of Moye White; Loura Sanchez of Burg Simpson; and Amanda Costanzi of Messner & Reeves.
