Congratulations to Meranda Vieyra for her elected position on the Board of Trustees for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society as a member of the Diversity Engagement Council of the Colorado Wyoming Chapter. The National MS Society is a movement with a vision of a world without multiple sclerosis.
Meranda has been an active member of the Colorado and National chapters of the MS Society for nearly a decade, bringing her energy and passion to various fundraising projects for the organization. As a survivor of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis, Meranda has been personally connected with the MS community since 2004. Over the last 16 years, she has participated in a number of events, including acting as a mentor for women recently diagnosed with the disease, serving as a general board member with the Rocky Mountain MS Center, a Board of Trustee for the National MS Society’s Colorado/Wyoming Chapter, and raising tens of thousands of dollars for the National MS Society’s MS 150 bike ride.
Meranda’s new role allows her to continue her passion for promoting the goals of the National MS society and build stronger relationships with people of color and minorities who are impacted by multiple sclerosis.
